Is WiFi Share free?
Yes. The app is completely free with no ads, no subscriptions, and no in-app purchases.
Does the app collect my data?
No. All Wi‑Fi names, passwords, and labels are stored only on your device. Nothing leaves your phone.
Why does the app ask for location access?
iOS requires location permission to read your current Wi‑Fi network name. You can skip this and enter the name manually.
Can guests connect without installing the app?
Yes. Guests just point their iPhone or Android camera at the QR code. No app needed on their end.
Is Face ID required?
No. Face ID is optional. You can enable it in Settings to lock the app, but it’s not required.
Does it work with hidden networks?
Yes. You can manually enter any network name and password, including hidden networks.
